Think Bullish
Chiropractic website redesign

Before you rebuild, find out if the site is the problem.

Plenty of chiropractic sites that look dated are converting fine, and plenty of new ones book nobody. Here is how to tell which you have — and how to rebuild without losing the rankings you already earned.

Start here

Three times a redesign fixes nothing.

We would rather say this before a rebuild than after one. In each of these cases the money is better spent elsewhere, and a new site would have made no difference.

Nothing is sending it traffic

A site converting 4% of nobody still books nobody. If there are no ads, no search visibility, and no referral flow, a redesign changes the conversion rate on zero visitors.

The phone is not answered

Practices routinely rebuild a site while missed calls go to voicemail. The site was never the leak; the twenty minutes between inquiry and callback was.

It was rebuilt last year

Sites rarely fail on age. If a recent site is not producing, the cause is usually structure or traffic, and both are diagnosable without starting over.

When it is worth it

Five reasons that do justify starting over.

  1. 01

It cannot be found for anything but your name

If the only searches you appear for are the practice name, there are no service or condition pages carrying weight, and no amount of visual work adds them.

  2. 02

    You do not own it

A site on a subscription platform ends when the subscription does. Practices usually discover this at the worst possible moment, when they want to leave.

  3. 03

It is unusable on a phone

The majority of first visits are mobile. A desktop-first site does not underperform on mobile, it fails on mobile.

  4. 04

The practice has changed and the site has not

New services, new providers, a new focus. A site describing the practice from four years ago actively disqualifies you for what you do now.

  5. 05

    A.I. assistants cannot read it

Patients ask ChatGPT and Google's A.I. answers who to see. Sites that never state services, service area, and credentials in machine-readable terms do not get cited in those answers.

The expensive mistake

A rebuild that drops your URLs undoes years of work in a weekend.

This is the most common way a chiropractic redesign goes wrong, and it is entirely avoidable. Traffic falls the week of launch, nobody connects it to the migration, and the practice concludes the new site is worse.

01

Map every URL before anything moves

Each existing page gets a destination on the new site. The pages already earning visibility keep their addresses; everything retired gets a redirect rather than a dead end.

02

Keep what is already ranking

A page holding a position is evidence, not clutter. Structure and content that earn it are preserved through the move even when the design around them changes completely.

03

Watch positions through the transition

Rankings are tracked across the switch, so a drop is caught in days and corrected — rather than discovered months later when the quarter's numbers come in.

Free · no call required

The audit tells you whether you need a redesign or something cheaper.

We crawl up to 90 pages the way Google and A.I. search do, and show you what is actually broken — structure, speed, schema, missing pages — with the evidence for each. No call required, and no obligation to rebuild anything.

Redesign questions, answered.

How do I know if my chiropractic website needs a redesign?

Check whether you appear in search for anything besides the practice name, whether you own the site outright, and whether it works properly on a phone. If all three are fine, the problem is more likely traffic or follow-up than the site, and a rebuild will not fix either.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can, and this is the most common way a chiropractic redesign goes wrong. Dropping or renaming URLs without mapping them loses the visibility those pages earned. Done properly, every existing URL gets a destination, the pages already ranking keep their structure, and positions are monitored through the switch.

How long does a chiropractic website redesign take?

Usually several weeks, and the limiting factor is normally content rather than build time — photography, provider details, and sign-off on copy. The existing site stays live throughout, so there is no window where patients cannot find you.

Can you redesign a site I do not own?

We can build you one you do own. If your current site sits on a subscription platform, the design and the platform usually cannot come with you, though the content and the URL structure can be carried across so the search visibility is not lost in the move.

Should I redesign or just add pages?

If the site is technically sound and you simply have nothing targeting the conditions you treat, adding real service pages is far cheaper and often enough. A rebuild earns its cost when the foundation itself is the constraint, not when the content is merely thin.
